Walking over the Remains of Train Tracks

Relax & recharge at the pleasant walking path in Shibuya

Tokyu "Toyoko" Line connects "To"-kyo and "Yoko"-hama in about 30 minutes.

The section between its starting station Shibuya and the next stop Daikanyama station went underground in March 2013.

"Logroad Daikanyama" is built over the old Tokyu train line tracks.

Along the narrow paved lane, you will find several eateries and boutiques.

Flowers in bloom, a good amount of greenery... it is more like an oasis than a newly opened shopping complex!

There are plenty of benches along the path. Visitors are enjoying a relaxed atmosphere: having a pleasant chat over snacks, reading, taking a nap... just as they please.

You can spot wood sleepers reused here and there on a premise.

There are not many stores on the site, but you don't find them anywhere else in Japan. Try their specialties: craft beer produced by one of the major breweries in Japan or donuts from an outlet often described as "one of the best on West Coast, USA."

Why not take some time out on a sunny day to relax and explore new flavours at "Logroad Daikanyama"?
