Worn out from walking around Tokyo? Take a little break! - Harajuku -

The places you can stop by and get rest for free - we call them “Haven in Tokyo."

Here's our recommendation vol. 4: "Omohara No Mori" near JR Harajuku station.

Tokyu Plaza Omotesando / Harajuku opened in 2012 on a corner of Jingumae crossing (Omotesando avenue x Meiji dori street, 4 mins walk from JR Harajuku station). The shopping mall features not only world-famous fashion brands like TOMMY HILFIGER and AMERICAN EAGLE, but also unique specialty stores you can't miss like Anime/ Manga-inspired Tokyo's Tokyo.

Take the elevator to the 6th floor to give your feet a rest after shopping. "Omohara No Mori" showcases a variety of trees and shrubs, creating a perfect setting to unwind and relax.

Yoyogi National Gymnasium built for Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games (designed by Kenzo Tange), skyscrapers in Shinjuku... enjoy the view from the rooftop garden! There are a variety of charming chairs, making it hard to decide where to settle down.

The sacred forest of Meiji Jingu, the zelkova tree-lined Omotesando avenue and Omohara No Mori.

Why not appreciate the nature in Harajuku, the centre of fashion and culture in Tokyo?
